Let Me Introduce Myself

My name is Geoff… not Ge-off. Or Joffrey. It’s pronounced like Jeff(rey).

I’ve been writing on Medium for a couple of months now and realized I never introduced myself. I’ve been a freelance content writer for more than ten years, and I love it (I also work in I.T., which is a lovely contrast to my creative side).

Before being a freelance content writer, I worked in hospitality marketing back in Chicago and had Hilton and Marriott as clients, which was a ton of fun! However, I switched my niche from hospitality to crypto, NFTs, and the Metaverse. As much as I never admitted to myself before, I get way more excited about NFTs, crypto, and Metaverse topics than I do with anything else. So, it only made sense to write about that instead of hospitality.

I’ve lived in Dallas since 2016, when I relocated here from Chicago for work. I have my loving family, a cat, and enjoy baseball and hockey; I will forever love my Cubs and Blackhawks.
